Skeleton's Cell Development team is looking for a driven and experienced


Product Owner- Supercapacitor Development

with the vision to match our ambition.


As a Product Owner, you will be the Single Point of Contact for the owned products in all technical, commercial, IP, and other relevant fields. The core responsibility will be bringing a product from Development Council start decision to a serialized product and retaining the responsibility for product improvement and maintenance after product handover.


Your tasks in the net zero journey:

  • Responsible for a product after the DevCo decision to develop a product until end of life of the product.
  • Responsible for the product COGS starting from development, during series production until end of life.
  • Responsible that the product is developed and launched in time, thus responsible for the product development plan.
  • Mandate to make technical decisions (e.g. we go forward with electrolyte A or B if cost neutral).
  • Identification of product related risks and definition of mitigation measures incl. timeline.
  • Responsibility that the product properties fulfil the customer requirements.
  • Responsible for product quality related series claim rates and field return rates.
  • Responsible for annual product productivity after SOP. The productivity rate is defined in the design brief.
  • Technical contact person for product related questions (internal + external).
  • Main interface for customer-related quality issues (8D) for own product.
  • Responsibility of project change requests (PCR) and definition of resulting product branching strategy.
  • Responsible for ensuring the product is protected in terms of IP.
  • Responsibility that material specific requirements are defined.

Requirements

We don’t expect to master it all. At Skeleton, you’ll have the support of the team and we work together to achieve our goals. However, there are requirements you should be able to fulfill to succeed in this role:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Project Manager, Product Developmnent Manager.
  • Previous experience in technology development field; heavily preferred are battery-, supercapacitor- or energy storage industries.
  • Professional skills required for the role:
    • Design brief expert,
    • Component knowledge, COGS knowledge,
    • Project Management skills,
    • Development Process knowledge,
    • Understanding of electrochemistry,
    • System Design knowledge,
    • Risk Management.
  • Excellent communication- and presentation skills.
  • Take strong ownership and responsibility of your tasks.
  • Hybrid work model is possible. Most of the Cell Development team is located in our production site in Großröhrsdorf, near Dresden, so at least one week a month should be scheduled to work on-site.
