The Role

We are seeking a motivated Social Media Specialist to effectively engage with targeted virtual communities and network users. Our objective is to achieve exceptional customer engagement, drive website traffic, and increase revenue through strategic utilisation of the social media marketing roadmap.


What you will do:

  • Execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Optimise company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Moderate user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Manage editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

  • What you will bring:

    • At least 3-4 years working experience in social media marketing
    • Strong proficiency in English writing and ability to produce content for various social media channels
    • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
    • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
    • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
    • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
    • BS in Communications, Marketing, Media or related field
    • Experience in paid social media is preferred
    • Experience in the telecommunications / technology industry is a plus
