We are now looking to recruit a Repair Technician to join our German Service team. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the job holder will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults of returned goods. Core Responsibilities Include:
- Inspecting, fault finding and reparation of returned goods.
- Administrating returned goods onto the company repair database.
- Reporting any trending issues or observed failures to the Service Manager.
- Drawing up accurate repair estimates and submitting for customer approval.
- Carrying out quality control inspections on new arrivals in accordance with company set processes.
- Ensuring the department is always kept clean and tidy.
- Assisting other departments with the procurement of miscellaneous parts requests.
Requirements
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Certification in Information, Radio amp; Television, Communication Electronics
- Experience with the setting up and use of A/V equipment (mixers, speaker, lighting etc).
- Proven experience of fault finding and repairing electronic equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good listening and solid problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of music technology software. Experience with titles such as Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton and Serato would be highly advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc).
- Any experience with any of our brands would be preferable, but not essential.
