We are looking for a passionate Senior Electrical Engineer (M.Sc/PhD) to design, build, and test electronic circuits and boards as well as incorporating embedded systems, communication infrastructure, power supplies, and sensors. As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for the whole development workflow, beginning with the design of the schematic all the way to a working prototype and later series production. Since we build mechatronic systems, working closely together with other disciplines is a daily business.
- Design embedded, power and mixed signal electronics for our mechatronic systems and sensor platforms
- Build the first prototypes of the designed electronics and bring them to life
- Work closely together with adjacent disciplines like mechanical design and software engineering
- Drive new products from ideation to deployment
Requirements
- Masters or higher degree in Electrical Engineering
- +5 years of industrial experience
- Profound knowledge of embedded systems (preferably ARM Cortex M), knowledge of programming to test the boards is a plus
- Experience in PCB design including high speed and high current routing (ideally in Altium Designer)
- Experience in handling measurement equipment (scopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and the like) and debug circuits
- Industrial experience in assembling and testing prototypes
- Industrial experience in transfer of designs to contract manufacturers
- Ability to work in a team and drive topics independently
