What you’ll be doing:
As we expand our Delivery Engineering Department, this role plays a crucial part in shaping the embedded software strategy of our audio speakers and solutions. In this position you will collaborate with our Senior Engineers. You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our embedded projects, you will be involved in the projects’ lifecycles, refining product specifications, producing innovative designs and solutions and engaging with a multi-discipline team.
You will be collaborating closely with the Research, Product Management and wider Engineering Teams, supporting early product definition and prototyping, the development of products through to market launch, and feature updates and maintenance for established products.
An Ideal candidate is likely to have
- ...In-depth experience with micro controllers in general.
- ...In-depth experience with ARM processors.
- ...Experience with Low-level C programming.
- ...Experience with Real Time Operating Systems.
- ...Experience with writing embedded applications.
- ...Experience with debugging large embedded applications without an operating system.
- ...Experience with optimization for speed and RAM.
- ...Experience with STM32 and NXP MCU’s as a plus.
- ...Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- ...Strong sense of teamwork.
- ...Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
