As a crucial part of our backend development team, you'll play a key role in solving complex problems, enhancing our systems, and scaling our mentality for growth.Your Responsibilities
- Build robust backends serving millions of users using Ruby on Rails framework
- Actively contribute to architectural solutions and best practices
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, proposing solutions and developing caching strategies
- Ship code to millions of users, ensuring a seamless user experience
- Develop and implement a comprehensive unit testing strategy to uphold code quality
- Share knowledge with the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
Your Profile
- Proven experience in building web applications that serve APIs
- Proficiency in developing applications using Ruby, Rails frameworks, or similar technologies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in an agile, cross-functional, and autonomous team environment
- Experience using Github for collaboration within an engineering team
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, such as RSpec or equivalent
- Advocate for clean, performance-driven code
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong team player, collaborator, and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge
