We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects in 7 different European Countries, equating to over 430MW of IT load in flight.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced a Commissioning Manager to join our team. This position will be based on site in Frankfurt, Germany.

• Develop and implement a commissioning plan for data centres that meets the defined scope and quality standards
• Ensure that the commissioning process is executed in compliance with the project schedule and budget.
• Supervision of and possible attendance for Electrical Vendor FAT’s and FWT’s
• Organise/ Attend and provide input to Daily/ Weekly Cx meetings, Internally and vendors
• Form and update weekly Cx Vendor progress reports for onward submission to Cx management
• Coordinate with Project QAQC Department to achieve common objectives
• Coordination with Project AP Department to achieve common objectives
• Track and obtain approval on relevant project Electrical Cx documents such as Test Scripts, Compliance statements etc
• Witnessing of all vendor Cx activities against approved project documentation
• Track receipt of, review and compliance of project CX documentation to achieve the necessary CX level sign off
• Conducting Commissioning Tagging process and procedures
• Conducting of all day to day on site commissioning operations
• Work with project teams to ensure that all aspects of the commissioning process are fully documented and reported
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors throughout the commissioning process
• Evaluate and approve test plans and protocols to ensure that all equipment and systems are thoroughly tested and meet the required standards.
• Conduct functional testing of all systems installed in the data centre to ensure full compliance with design specifications.
• Develop and maintain a database of testing results and issues, and work with the project team to ensure accurate tracking and resolution of issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in commissioning data centres or similar facilities.
• In-depth knowledge of commissioning processes, standards, and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for data centres
