This year, we want to invest even further and scale our number of members in the Data Team at Almedia. For this, we are looking for a Working Student Data Science to join our rapidly growing team in Berlin.

Your responsibilities:

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Interpret and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Clean and preprocess raw data to prepare it for analysis and modeling.
• Address missing or inconsistent data to maintain data quality.
• Conduct statistical analysis to validate hypotheses and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments.
• Optimize feature selection to enhance model accuracy.
• Create visually appealing and insightful data visualizations to facilitate understanding.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a German university course,
• Strong programming skills with programming languages like Python and/or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy,
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
