Job Description

Our team in Berlin is growing fast, and we are looking for a Working Student in HR and Office Support (part-time), who can support our HR and Ops team with administrative tasks and the office management in our co-working space in Mitte.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for HR administration for all Almedia employees, including preparation of monthly payroll.
  • Support the onboarding process of new employees.
  • Tool management for all the team-members.
  • Ensure the wellbeing of the team by handling daily tasks such as ordering snacks, drinks etc. to our office.
  • Event planning: setting up our main company trips and other activities.
  • Employer branding: helping us spread the word.
  • Supporting management and other teams with ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements

  • Find joy in helping others: positive attitude and ability to find common language with different people.
  • Proven organisational talent: ability to break down larger projects and goals into actionable steps amp; managing and prioritising your to-do list.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Experience in HR administration: HR software, payroll preparation, contracting, etc.
  • Pragmatic and creative, solution oriented approach to deal with tasks efficiently.
  • Tech affinity: you will take care of all tool accesses with ease.
  • Ideally, experience with Excel/Google Sheets and PP/ Slides (ex. from studies).
  • Ideally, prior experience at a startup in a similar role.
  • Excellent language communication skills in both German and English.
  • Enrolment at a university in Germany
