Position:
Institutional investor engagement with public companies is increasing globally due to emerging regulatory requirements and voluntary frameworks. As a global corporate governance and proxy voting leader with two decades of experience, Glass Lewis’ Stewardship Solutions provide a range of services to assist institutional investors to enhance their engagement programs. Our Stewardship Solutions are designed to accommodate a range of needs, from a SaaS-based tracking and reporting platform to a fully custom service that leverages our Stewardship team to perform and manage engagement campaigns on behalf of institutional investor clients.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Analyst will work with the Glass Lewis Stewardship Team team to help support Proxinvests’ and Glass Lewis’ engagement solutions by:
- Managing Proxinvest’s engagement offering
- Supporting the development of Proxinvest’s ESG engagement agenda
- Researching ESG themes for engagement with corporate issuers
- Participating in engagement meetings with corporate issuers
- Supporting other Glass Lewis Stewardship Solutions
- Producing reporting for institutional investor clients
- Gathering and managing data generated by the Stewardship Solutions offering
- Performing other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of experience in ESG research and engagement
- Demonstrated understanding of corporate sustainability/ESG issues and existing sustainability frameworks (i.e. UN PRI, SASB, TCFD, SFDR, SRD II)
- Expertise in corporate climate risk, biodiversity, human and labour rights desirable
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Strong data management and analytical skills
- Collaborative, team-player with a continuous improvement mind-set
- IT skills; proficiency in MS Office, Excel and online research tools
Languages:
- Native level fluency in French
- Excellent English reading and writing skills
