Job Description

Wallee is a payment technology company that enables merchants to accept omnichannel payments - whether online in web shops, on mobile devices, unattended kiosks or in physical outlets with terminals. Our software engineers are working on a variety of projects ranging from big data systems to dedicated merchant integrations. We’re driven by constantly improving the customer experience and enhancing the customer journey to satisfy our customers and consumers. We’re using latest technologies and tools.

We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FPamp;A) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in FPamp;A.

Requirements

Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making across the organization
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth
  • Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • assessing the financial impact of business initiatives, and conducting scenario analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, operations, and HR, to align financial goals with overall business objectives
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior management to create annual budgets and track expenses against budgeted targets
  • Provide FPamp;A support related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner
  • Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline financial planning and analysis processes, enhance data accuracy, and increase efficiency
  • Active support for the month-end closing process
  • Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in FPamp;A
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication in German and English
