What you’ll be doing
Provide IT support for manufacturing and office users in a construction/steel fabrication environment. Maintain reliable IT services aligned with corporate standards and participate in IT projects.

- Provide technical support to end users (desktop, laptop, peripherals, printers) both in-person and remotely where required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and account access issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure and maintain Windows workstations, standard business applications, and system updates.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and security settings in Active Directory and Office 365/G Suite as applicable.
- Support on-site network equipment (switches, access points, firewalls) and liaise with external vendors for escalations.
- Maintain IT inventory, document resolutions, update knowledge base articles and produce weekly support reports.
- Participate in IT projects affecting the local environment.
What we’re looking for
Must-have:
Preferred:
- Proven experience supporting Windows 10/11 workstations and MS Office.
- Hands-on troubleshooting of desktop hardware, printers and peripherals; ability to replace components and perform repairs.
- Basic network knowledge: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs; experience with switches and wireless access points.
- Experience with Active Directory account management, group policies, and Office 365 user administration.
- Familiarity with endpoint protection, backup solutions and patch management processes.
- Experience maintaining ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or similar) and clear written documentation.
- Ability to prioritize incidents and work under pressure in a manufacturing environment; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English; German language ability highly desirable.
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft MTA/MD-100 or similar.
