1. Contribute to expanding the product's market coverage by setting up a product line-up operation plan.
2. Contribute to maximizing sales and minimizing loss by managing product lifecycle and developing pricing strategy to meet the target sales for the product.
Role and Responsibilities
Develop product and marketing plans for Samsung's automotive LED business
Line-up management - develop and manage the line-up portfolio plan and efficiency improve efforts and market issue response
Define product and technology roadmap by gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing market trend and demands
Assist in the devising of the pricing operation strategy of each segment and model
Establish product positioning and messaging that differentiates its features across primary market segments
Refine product strategy throughout the product lifecycle closely working with product managers and regional sales
Present market analysis, product insights, future technologies, and constructive suggestions to the leadership team
Build direct and active relationships with customers serving as a product advisor and resolving product related issues
Discontinuation management - Assist in devising plans to minimize the leftover materials when a product is to be discontinued by setting appropriate discontinuation timeline and plans to utilize the leftover materials
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years' experience and deep knowledge in automotive lighting industry with a strong understanding of LED products
Background in product planning, managing, or marketing for companies developing automotive lighting products.
Prior experience collaborating with a cross-functional team to successfully launch new products and driving business impact
Excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to engage directly with important stakeholders at all levels
Customer service oriented and hands on approach/mind-set.
Proactive team player with ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English (written & spoken). German will be considered a plus
