As a Regional Business Development Manager O&G at Hempel, you will be the regional O&G specialist providing specialist advice to customers and internally. You will develop O&G business through Asset Owners, National Oil Companies and Decision Makers to ensure strong Hempel presence as a trusted partner.

Developing O&G business through Asset Owners, National Oil Companies and Decision Makers to ensure Hempel is positioned as a trusted partner.
Establishing customer road maps and key stakeholders mapping within those organizations.
Understanding, planning and developing selected regional key accounts, including NOCs in order to achieve sustainable and profitable business, creating the ADP / action plans; being an expert in supporting commercial and technical topics.
Being responsible for sales development at the beginning of the value chain by specifying Hempel’s coating systems in corporate specifications and in relevant NB and maintenance projects.
Being a primary Hempel point of contact for the selected regional key accounts, initiating and maintaining relations at all management levels and locations.
Actively developing and implementing the strategy and the operational plans for the selected regional accounts as well as the defined and delivered value propositions.
Actively cooperating with other internal functions such as Marketing, Specification Team and R&D to drive the growth of the PFP business in Europe.

Our ideal candidate will come from a global, matrix organization with cross cultural and cross functional experiences and with proven technical experience in O&G business.
You should also have the following qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar function with one of the major coatings companies, and/or GKAM within one of the major coatings’ suppliers, or one of the major suppliers in the energy segment.
High experience within O&G sales, in working with major owners, getting specifications and sales on major international NB and/or maintenance projects.
Engineering background with strong commercial / business capabilities or vice-versa.
Understanding of buying process for the O&G segment.
Highly developed soft communication skills together with emotional intelligence to allow maximum influence over others and the sales process.
Fluency in Microsoft Office platforms and applications including: Word, Excel, Power Point and CRM.
Being a highly organised and structured individual capable of reading reports and developing action plans from the observed data.
Having a highly developed network of stakeholders in the market within the European Region.
Excellent business level in English (other languages are considered as an asset).
