Product Marketing Manager / Director (f/m/d)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Marketing Manager / Director (f/m/d) to support our Product team at our HQ in Cologne or fully remotely. You will be responsible for developing and executing Silexica’s product marketing strategy, collaborating closely with our Product, Engineering, Sales and Corporate Marketing teams.

Your role:

• You maintain a deep understanding of our products and markets, to develop effective product messaging that resonates with our customers
• You partner with corporate marketing on the implementation of the product marketing strategies; conceptualize and create compelling product marketing materials to support for various marketing channels
• You develop and create promotional videos, tutorials and product demos together with our Technical Marketing Engineers
• You represent Silexica online and in-person at events and conferences
• You maintain a close collaboration with our industry partners
• You work closely with our product manager and engineering to plan new launches and develop related messaging and communication
• You are doing asssessments of the effectiveness of campaigns and other marketing activities, creating reports for management
• You understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it
• This position has several direct reports

Requirements

Your profile:

• You have 5+ years of experience in product marketing or a similar role, in a fast-paced environment
• You have a deep understanding of the EDA software and/or semiconductor industry
• You have a technical background, preferably with a degree in computer science or electrical engineering or have developed a good understanding of software development and EDA due to your professional experience
• You must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, audience-oriented communications
• You have a hands-on mentality and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams in different locations and time zones
• You are willing to travel internationally, to our HQ in Germany, and to conferences/ events (post-Covid)
