We’re looking for a Dynamics 365 Business Central Engineering Team Lead with an entrepreneurial spirit to help us bring delightful, market-fresh cooking back to the people.
Marley Spoon uses technology to reinvent the global food supply chain to reduce unethical food waste and connect consumers with quality producers faster to provide fresher food. In order to achieve this, we are solving challenging problems within the fulfillment process.
As a Dynamics 365 Business Central Team Lead, you are well versed in software development of Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central and APIs to other systems. You have experiences in managing teams with 3-8 team members. In this role, you have the exciting responsibility to lead one of our Dynamics 365 Business Central engineering teams. This includes that you manage developers and quality assurance team members, define and execute the solution strategy for our requirements within our SCRUM process.
Your role will include:
- Leading an international engineering team of Dynamics 365 Business Central developers and quality assurance team members
- You ensure your team members are successful, work inspired and self-organized. You make sure team members can advance in their careers, enjoy working at Marley Spoon and celebrate their achievements.
- You work closely with the Product Owners and you make sure that developments are fulfilling the requirements and that changes are made future-ready (Extension ready for AL language)
- You work closely with other engineering teams to fulfill cross team and API requirements
- Configure amp; customize Dynamics 365 Business Central in a way that enables our finance, procurement, warehouse and production departments to act highly efficiently and in accordance with our development style guidelines
- Supporting integration projects with your expert knowledge of data structures and processes
- Constantly improving the system’s robustness and scalability
Requirements
- Experienced in leading professional engineers
- Highly structured with a focus on getting things done
- Excellent communicator to product managers and non-technical stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of Finance, Sales amp; Purchase and Warehouse modules.
- 6+ years NAV / BC experience (incl. 3+ years in NAV/BC versions 2016, 2017, 2018, Business Central V14, V15, V16, V17)
- Advanced C/AL / AL programming skills including report design, debugging amp; troubleshooting issues in Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Expertise in SQL, .NET/C# and integration such as Web Services, Message Queueing
- Experience in planning and maintaining the technical platforms to ensure a reliable and performant service
Awesome extras:
- Experience with CI environments and systems (e.g. GitHub, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with Cloud environments like AWS or Azure
- Experience with Test Automation within Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Experience with JavaScript development
- Prior experience working in an e-commerce environment or project
- Knowledge in agile methodologies as Kanban or Scrum
