We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accounting amp; Controlling Manager to join our team in Munich.

The Financial Accounting amp; Controlling Manager will undertake setting-up and supervising policies, processes and systems in the accounting, controls and financial reporting areas for German operations working closely and in alignment with the Group Finance team.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Manage all DE accounting operations (A/R, A/P, GL, Cost/ Inventory Accounting, Reporting etc)
• Set-up local in-house Finance amp; Accounting team
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial reports
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Manage compliance with statutory reporting requirements and tax filings in cooperation with external Tax Accountant
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls for PL in alignment with the Group and the other countries we operate in
• Participate in selection and implementation of ERP system working closely with Group team

Requirements

Accounting amp; Finance graduate studies from a top-tier University

Postgraduate studies and/ or ACCA accreditation are highly appreciated

5+ years of overall combined Accounting, Controlling and Financial Reporting experience with:

• overviewing all accounting procedures (ie A/P, A/R amp; GL)
• financial reporting under IFRS (Pamp;L, balance sheet, cash flow statements and other financial notes)

Excellent command of the English language both written and oral

Experience in the use of ERP systems

Advanced organization and administration skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to direct and supervise

Efficiency in communication and collaboration across teams amp; functions
