We are looking for a SEO Manager (f/m/x) to further expand gitti’s organic growth by setting and developing gitti’s SEO strategy throughout all our markets and websites. You will report to the Head of Performance Marketing and work closely with our Shop Team, Content and Copywriting.
Your Tasks:
- Audit the gitti website to identify needs, blocking points and improvements to define the SEO strategy.
- Prioritize and oversee in a continuous manner the execution of the SEO roadmap in close collaboration with an external SEO consultant and the Shop Team.
- Make strategic recommendations in order to improve the websites from a technical SEO perspective (website speed, indexing, crawlability, website architecture) as well as on site optimization (headings, internal linking, alt tags).
- Develop and implement a holistic keyword research and strategy using the Ads Keyword Planner, SEMRush, etc..
- Closely collaborate with Copywriters and the Shop Team on a regular basis to optimize existing content and define a content strategy from an SEO perspective.
- Raise awareness of SEO matters across the company, run ad-hoc analysis and workshops with different teams and stakeholders on the SEO best-practices.
Requirements
- You have completed studies in Marketing, communication or another related field.
- You have at least 2-3 years of experience working in SEO and are familiar with best practices, keywords research, link building and performance analysis.
- You are proactive and good at managing multiple projects with different stakeholders.
- Proficient with SEO tools (Search Console, Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog).
- Good analytical skills and experience with Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel with solid judgment and ability to draw conclusions.
- Autonomous and well-structured in your work, you are able to work under time pressure and you have a hands-on attitude.
- Experience working with Shopify is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and partner with internal teams.
- You speak and write fluently in German and English.
