Requirements

We now have the opportunity to bring on a Junior SEO Manager to join our team in Berlin. The position will support managing all our SEO efforts for our two meal kit brands, Marley Spoon and Dinnerly and will be working alongside our skilled SEO Manager. You will be part of the Global Acquisition Team.


Your mission is:

  • To perform ongoing optimisation based on common SEO metrics for our websites
  • To perform technical SEO optimisation: index-management, crawlability, internal linking, etc.
  • To monitor and report on the SEO performance and to provide cause and effect analysis to derive action plans
  • To design, implement and provide outcomes from SEO tests
  • To keep up to date with the SEO landscape and always be on top of new features and updates
  • To perform competitor analysis from both an on-page and off-page perspective, and identify strategic opportunities
  • To create analyses and plan optimisation processes (on/off-page)
  • To run regular keyword research and analysis to constantly improve on-page performance
  • To plan and implement content marketing strategies


What you bring:

  • At least 1-year work experience in an SEO role
  • Good understanding of on-page and off-page SEO ranking factors
  • Understanding of technical SEO (crawlability, indexation, canonicalisation etc.)
  • Firm understanding of SEO best practices and Google quality guidelines
  • Hands on experience with tools such as e.g. Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Sistrix and web analytics tools
  • Excellent communication skills with great negotiation skills, high level of commitment, goal orientation and proactivity
  • Very good analytical skills as well as a data-driven and creative mindset
  • Good organisational and project management skills
  • MS Excel skills required
  • A high degree of initiative, reliability and curiosity
