Working Student (m/f/d) for the UX and Ergonomics Team

(20 hours/week on a 6 months contract)

Responsibilities

  • Flexibly support the UX and Ergonomics team regarding desktop and market research activities according to the current workload requirements
  • Support a team of experimental and software ergonomics researchers to operate our local ergonomics / UX lab and provide professional inputs to the development of next generation Huawei IOT products such as smartphone, smart watch and smart home devices
  • Tasks also include the conduction of user interviews in our local lab as well as remote studies, summarizing and analyzing user feedback and drafting research reports to document findings
  • Actively transfer research insights back into the context of a consumer-driven and fast-paced industry

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Experimental/Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Marketing, Human Factors amp; Ergonomics or Human-Computer-Interaction;
  • First experiences in project implementation, confident handling of research equipment and participants;
  • Be familiar with both quantitative and qualitative methods of user study, comfortable with literature review, competitor analysis, study materials preparation, data collection and analysis;
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German;
  • High communication, organizational and interpersonal skills combined with team spirit in multi-disciplinary teams, openness for an international environment and cultural diversity;
  • Strategic, results oriented mind-set and independent and well-structured working style with a hands-on, can-do attitude
