Role in the product teamWe have a strong team of product designers working closely with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists. Each product designer looks after one or several products within the Cognism eco-system to create the best experience for our users.
You will have a strong focus on discovery first and produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect and when to make low-fi sketches. You are relentlessly focused on the users to ensure we create great solutions to the problems we want to solve for our users.
This role reports to our Head of Product.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the users and relentlessly advocate for a user-centered approach
- Define and run user research to identify problems and validate solutions including user interviews, surveys, prototype testing
- Drive experiments to validate the solutions before implementation and ensure the team solves user’s problems
- Deliver mock-ups, prototypes, and design proposals to meet requirements
- Support engineering team to ensure the design is implemented in the best way possible
- Present work amp; vision to the core team, to business stakeholders, and to our clients
- Contribute to Cognism brand identity and guidelines
Requirements
Skills amp; Experience
- You have a strong experience in user research and able to guide a team
- You have had multiple experiences in designing successful software products, preferably in a B2B environment and with data complex products
- You have a growth mindset and spur collaboration for a diverse and multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of different agile frameworks and of the lean methodology, breaking down complex problems into small steps to iterate on
- Strong communication skills with the right level of information
