The role of the Senior Product Designer is to work within our existing design and UX research team to lead the delivery of high quality conceptual designs, prototypes and final design deliverables for our SaaS product.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of and lead the end-to-end product design process for large features or entire product verticals.
- Mentor junior designers and actively critique peer work to drive higher standards of design excellence.
- Collaborate with UX Researchers and Product Managers to conceptualise user journeys and low-fidelity prototypes.
- Define research requirements and contribute to the planning and delivery of user research activities, like usability testing.
- Contribute to a growing design system.
- Create high fidelity design deliverables to be delivered to the engineering team.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a UX/UI design practitioner
- 2+ years experience in a senior capacity
- High proficiency with Figma
- Strong foundation in UX principles
- Strong understanding of user testing and research tools and methodologies
- Good experience in delivering clear handovers for engineering teams
- A background in SaaS would be a plus
