EV adoption is growing rapidly in Germany with over 355,000 fully-electric cars sold in 2021. In fact, EVs more than doubled their share of the overall car market and our flexible subscription model offers all car enthusiasts in Germany a simple and hassle-free way to join the electric car revolution.
There’s no sign of the trend towards electrification slowing down any time soon. Backed by government incentives in an attempt to making it more affordable for consumers in Germany to make the switch to a more sustainable lifestyle.

About the role
This is a brand-new critical role within our Finance Department supporting a rapidly growing business. Even though it will cover a wide range of responsibilities the main focus will be reporting, accounting and business partnering. You will be directly reporting to the Finance Manager Germany with your key objectives of ensuring that the business has the key financial information required to identify trends and improve the business performance, that funder reporting requirements are met on a timely basis and accounting systems are up to date and accurate. Excellent opportunities to develop and progress as the business grows. With your main responsibilities being:
- Reporting amp; Accounting:
- Develop and produce monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Produce daily cash management reports for management and funders.
- Perform troubleshooting on all financial reports, complete audits, identify trends to determine improvement plans.
- Administer and ensure achievement of all accounting financial and operational targets and objectives.
- Develop accounting controls and policies.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Business partnering:
- Provide finance support across the business for projects, trend analysis and improvement plans.
- Coordinate with departments and compile and review all financial information and prepare special reports.
- Provide assistance to manage projects and assist management on all accounting activities.
- In this fast-growing business no two days are the same so there will be many ad-hoc requirements.
Requirements
About you
- You will have demonstrated the ability to work in and manage activities across a rapidly evolving and growing business.
- Whilst navigating easily between a wide range of tasks will be integral to this role, so will strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Accountancy qualification HGB and IFRS
- A strong focus and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experienced with financial analysis, modelling and month-end reporting
- Highly advanced Excel user
- Ability to prioritise and assist business requests with a service mindset.
- Flexible and well organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
