We are looking for a Product Owner that will lead and support our Claims Management Scrum Team in delivering features and improvements to the state-of-the-art SAP FS-CM solutions. A new member of the team would help in solving core module challenges and work with the rest of the team on designing new and innovative FS-CM features in insurance and reinsurance industry.

We are a ‘’remote-friendly’’ company. This position is based in Germany with the option to work from one of your office locations in Munich, Berlin or Walldorf, home-office based or a combination of the two.

This position is perfect for you if you want to:

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand current condition, identify, and prioritize business requirements and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with customers to develop the product roadmap and drive new products and features for SAP FS-CM modules along with all upstream and downstream S4I module
  • Translate product roadmap into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria for FS-CM core features and SAP for Insurance functionalities
  • Influence the product strategy, support product definition and operationalize the rollout to ensure a scalable knowledge transfer to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive the requirements definition, planning, user stories creation and reviews as part of the development process lifecycle
  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products
  • Play an active role in roll-in, roll-out and test activities for the product
  • Follow the progress of work and address production issues during sprints
  • Refine our Agile methodology based on results and client feedback
  • Collaborate with our documentation team to improve the existing knowledge base

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ work experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably within the SAP Insurance industry, with a special emphasis on the SAP FS-CM module
  • Knowledge of insurance solutions and experience on multiple FS-CM implementation projects
  • Customer-first mindset and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in leading product delivery from inception to launch and maintenance
  • Strong ability to gather, understand and translate business requirements into working solutions
  • First-hand experience with Agile practices in software development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executives, management, individual contributors)
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with international and cross-functional teams and customers
  • Strong presentation, documentation, analytical and conceptual skills with a distinct willingness to learn
  • Fluency in English, German is a big advantage
  • An Advanced Academic degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Natural Science or similar
  • Experience in different lines of businesses
