We are pioneering the next-generation biochip for research, diagnostics, and personalized medicine. Our biochip platform offers ultra-high feature density, modularity, and adaptability to integrate and enhance sequencing, transcriptomics, and proteomics applications. To realize this vision, SPRIND - Germany's Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation funds Nanogami as one of six projects for the next five years (see article).
Role Overview
We are looking for a driven Biosensor Specialist to work on a novel nanotechnology application as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will develop models and simulations of the processes involved in the placement of single molecules and advanced sensing capabilities using DNA Origami nanostructures. Your work will directly lead to impactful real-world uses.
What you will do
- Develop physical models of surface interactions of DNA nanostructures in solution
- Develop and analyze molecular simulations of DNA nanostructures
- Research and develop placement of DNA nanostructures on surfaces
- Closely collaborate with experimental scientists to guide research and development and to understand underlying processes
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to develop the next generation of biochip
Requirements
