We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Account Director to join our Sales Team based in Germany (remote or office-based in Ettenheim or Karlsruhe) with focus on new Enterprise accounts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.Daily you will:- Implement and execute your own go-to-market strategy to position Coupa as the market leader in Business Spend Management in Enterprise accounts (gt;1B. USD revenue).
- Be responsible for building and enhancing your pipeline including lead generation, account planning and execution.
- Drive and develop revenue with large Enterprise accounts in an ultra-dynamic and fast growing organisation.
- Partner with supporting functions such as Value Solutions Consultants, Business Value Engineers, Account Development Representatives and Implementation Partners in order to generate revenue and strengthen the brand of Coupa in DACH.
Our ideal candidate will have:- A strong SaaS sales background with a proven track record of closing complex deals within the Enterprise segment, validated experience in Spend Management would be a plus.
- Passion for and experience in proactively driving complex multi-stakeholder engagements including RFP team orchestration.
- High-reaching attitude including Value Positioning and Challenger Sales.
- Creative out-of-the-box-thinking and bringing fresh ideas to convert leads into new logos!
- The ability to sell and communicate at the CxO level including building contacts at all levels in German and English (full business proficiency in both languages is a must-have). Existing networks on CxO levels are a plus.
- A proactive hunter mentality with an ability to research and gain access at the executive level combined with a strong ownership approach for the whole sales cycle from pipeline generation to closing.
- High willingness to travel to prospects, accounts, relevant events and internal meetings mainly within the DACH region.
